psyche re-screen for 3rd donation

i went into the office to retake the 'are you crazy' computer test. according to some law, the records need to be updated every year. so instead of doing the psyche interview over the phone like last time, i had to go to the office in person and take the 50 minute test. i loved it. the questions are so funny. questions like: I hear voices other people dont hear. Somebody is out to get me for sure. My father is (was) a bad person. I wish i weren't bothered by sexual thoughts.

Its a true false quiz. and some of the questions are a little tricky: Have you ever not not had a strong fear for an inanimate object?

the next step is to speak with a psychologist over the phone about my answers to the quiz, and how i felt about the last donations and all that normal psyche re-screen stuff. i'm waiting to hear back from her. I sent an email to my case coordinator to let him know i took the psyche rescreen computer quiz.

i requested a copy of the psyche test results from last year, i want to compare the results from last time and this time. according to the person at the office, people's results dont really vary much.
I also requested a copy of my otis-gamma IQ test for MENSA. i dont know if i want to fork out $50 a year just to have a MENSA card. but it would be funny to have. I really wanted to see which questions i answered incorrectly. But aside from MENSA theres a couple other high IQ societies i qualify for, those would be cool to join just for fun.

Hey. I'm considering egg donation (my first time) I've been doing so much research, I have my interview tomorrow afternoon. My concerns; the risks, how great are they? I read an artcle about a woman habing to get an ovary removed AND getting breast cancer about 10 years after the donation (she was in her early 30's). The article was by Woman X, I felt it a bit fishy, to tell you the truth... Anyways, I'm mixed (European and African), 22, healthy, I've had a pregnancy but it ended prematurely (ectopic), I feel like donating would be a beautiful act, a journey, but also freeing ( I was very hurt by the ectopic). As well, the money sounds good. My questions to you; Did you gain a lot of weight because of the fertility shots? how moody were you? What were the physical/mental consequences of the drugs? You can email me at: blackvelveteen@live.ca.. Thx so much in advance, Ive been searching for egg donors blogs and I am truly thankful I stumbled upon this one!

Hi, Thank you for your blog. I am finding it very informative and interesting. I am considering donating, but would like to do it through a reputable agency and preferably through an agency that someone has had a good experience with. COuld you tell me the name of the agency you went through. Thanks!!!

the shots dont make you gain weight. towards the end you feel bloated because the ovaries are swelling with eggs and egg fluid. but once they take them out, you go back to normal.

i wasn't very moody... i dont think. its hard to tell. i'd have to go back and read my daily posts. i dont remember feeling different.

lupron feels like that energetic time after your period. it gave me tons of energy the first donation. i didn't notice the second donation. the worst part of the drugs, is injecting them. theres a dread in getting them all out of the fridge and loading all three needles and stabbing yourself with the syringes and pushing the drugs into your fat. thats the hardest part.
